Sunrise in Colorado Springs

Sunrises in the Rockies can be beautiful. On 5 June 2019, the weather was good after a very unsettled period, so I decided to take a few shots showing the beauty of the mountains in June.

The sky begins to brighten early during this time of year, and the first morning rays play off the clouds in colorful patterns.

While I was out on the mountain, I came across some other people sitting and watching the sunrise. So, I'm not the only one who appreciates the show that nature can put on in the morning.

Due to the poor weather in 2019, there haven't been as many opportunities as there usually are to capture daybreak clearly.

However, this was a good chance to wander along the trails and capture a few fleeting moments.
